Bright Streamer Backdrop for the AWPA Preferred Vendors Mixer in Austin, TX

We love partying with our colleagues in the wedding industry! Austin is bursting at the seams with creativity, and it’s so fun to mingle with fellow vendors in a way we don’t usually get to at events we’re working. 

This summer, the nonprofit Associated Wedding Planners of Austin invited us to their preferred vendor's mixer at the gorgeous Omni Hotel in downtown Austin. The event is exclusive to local vendors, so it’s an excellent opportunity to mingle and make new connections in the Austin wedding industry!

We created an extra-long streamer wall for the stage backdrop full of bright and bold colors. We’re obsessed with the yellow bottom layer with splashes of gold streamers mixed in - it’s so fun and cheerful! 

Some of our favorite Austin vendors also showed up to the party, like Paige Vaughn Photo, who we love working with and have to thank for these amazing photos! The event was catered by Taco Man512, another Austin staple consistently serving up amazing authentic TexMex. 

The adorable succulents and plants came from Pink Flamingo Plant Co., a plant-lovers paradise. We can’t forget the gorgeous cake from Feathers and Frosting. We are loving the shag icing trend (notice how it matches the streamer wall?!), and they knocked it out of the park with this masterpiece! You can check out the rest of the amazing vendors below.
