Jungle themed install for the Amazing NACE!

It was truly a rumble in the jungle at this years annual NACE fundraiser!

The fundraiser is organized for Austin’s best catering and events companies to come together, have fun, and be part of a silent auction sponsored by other companies for charity at Palm Door on Sabine! The National Association of Catering and Events wanted to stay on brand with the Amazing Race and organized a scavenger hunt for each company team through the GoGame app. Each participating team had a variety of tasks to complete such as taking funny pictures, approaching people “in the wild”, and different dare-style activities! The team that won the scavenger hunt received extra tickets to put towards the silent auction, thus giving them a higher chance to win a prize! If you know anything about the events industry, “competitive” is everyone’s middle name. 😏

If competition doesn’t bring people together, you know pet llamas (yes, LLAMAS!) and food will! As attendees entered the party, they were greeted by the cutest llamas and passed hors devours. Peached Tortilla catered and we believe their tacos and mac and cheese bar are what dreams are made of (we’re still drooling). Tiff's Treats made an appearance with their famous golden eggs and snickerdoodles and satisfied everyone’s sweet tooth!

Although our team didn’t compete in the scavenger hunt, we had an opportunity to show off our creative skills with a jungle themed streamer and balloon install. It was perfect as the backdrop for the stage and a photo op before and after team activities! We decided on peach, magenta, gold, teal, and white to incorporate with this years aesthetic! We weaved palm leaves throughout the balloons from Disch Events to tie it all together and it was the perfect touch!
